Outing Information

When you contract with The Village Golf Club, player guarantees are due 14 days prior to the day of your event. The number of players that appears on your contract will be considered your minimum billable players. Should you provide a higher number than that minimum at the 14-day mark, this new number will become billable. We want to be sure that we are well prepared for each of your guests. Your Event Terms and Conditions Agreement contained in your contract will have more information and details about player guarantees.

Deposits, signed contracts, and player lists have due dates that are specified in you Event Terms and Conditions Agreement -- one that is specific to each event. The balance of your contract will always be due the day of your event.

Player lists are requested 72 hours in advance, either by fax to (936) 856-3462 or by email to info@thevillagegc.com. Please be very mindful of your player-count throughout the time preceding your event. Should The Village need to rent golf carts to accommodate your group, we need a minimum of 5 working days to make arrangements. If you think your event is going to be a large one, let us know at the onset, and we will maintain constant communication with you to ensure we have enough vehicles for your day.

Time of start and pace of play are very important to your guests, even if they do not say so! Please inform all of your guests that we will start on time and that we will enforce our pace of play policy (moving slower groups forward to fill gaps on the course) if we determine that your round will take longer than five (5) hours -- though this is very rare at The Village Golf Club.

While The Village Golf Club is a semi-private course, open to the public, our members and residents of Panorama Village take very good care of the course and appreciate your respect for their course and their property lines around the golf course. Golf carts are not permitted beyond white stakes that mark the course property. You may, respectfully, retrieve any golf ball that has wandered into a yard, but please! do so without your golf cart. Our members and staff also request that you honor the traditions of the game and inform your entire group that proper golf attired is required. Please change out of blue jeans, tank-tops or halter-tops, exercise gear, and of any shorts that are aggressively cut. Your golf shoes should have soft spikes in them, but if they don't, our professional staff will be happy to change them for you for a nominal fee.

Inclement weather conditions do not necessarily mean that your event will be postponed or cancelled. We ask that you work closely with our staff to keep your guests informed that if the course is open, rain or not, your event will proceed as planned. We will work with you throughout the day, based on the terms of your contract, to monitor course and weather conditions should other arrangements need to be made.

By the day of your event, your work should be over!    It's time to RELAX and most importantly, time to HAVE FUN!
